Mamuka Molli

BIOGRAPHY

Mamuka Tsetskhladze (b. 1960) is a Georgian painter known for his expressive, dynamic works that capture the transient moods of modern landscapes and urban life.
He studied at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts (1980–1986), where he developed a distinctive visual language blending spontaneous gesture, color contrast, and contemplative composition.

In the mid-1980s, Tsetskhladze co-founded the artist groups “Archivarius” and “10th Floor”, which later evolved into the Marjanishvili Workshop, fostering collaboration and experimentation among emerging Georgian artists. His practice reflects a dialogue between urban energy and personal reflection, balancing vibrant, dynamic forms with poetic subtlety.

Tsetskhladze’s works are part of public and private collections in Georgia, Germany, Hungary, France, the USA, Russia, and Turkey.
He has participated in numerous exhibitions showcasing the richness of contemporary Georgian painting, while maintaining a unique voice that bridges tradition and modernity.
